Welcome to the remodelled website of D-Foot International.
Last May, the General Assembly elected an enthusiastic new Board, with members from around the world representing different perspectives, working in diverse realities, but with the united vision to raise global awareness on how to end avoidable lower-limb amputations due to diabetes. Find out here who the members are and what we stand for.
One of our main objectives is to support our network of more than 150 national representatives as well as all healthcare professionals treating people with diabetic foot disease around the world on how to use and apply the IWGDF guidelines in their daily practice. You can find the full guidelines here.
Have a look through our new website to find out who we are and what we do. We’ll expand on the content as we go along. So visit the website regularly. Also, this is not a one-way communication – get involved, be proactive and vocal. Drop us a line with a suggestion of what you’d like to see on these pages. And, even more importantly, let us know the barriers you encounter in dealing with diabetic foot disease in your daily practice and how D-Foot might help you to overcome them. Do write to me on firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in what we do and would like to contribute, I invite you to become a member or support us in another way. Here’s how you can do that.
With kind regards
José Luis Lázaro Martínez
