African Study Group on Diabetes and the Lower Extremity
Objectives:
- To obtain prospective data on the outcome of individuals presenting with a new diabetic foot ulcer, including patients both with and without peripheral arterial disease.
- To assess clinical characteristics that best predict poor outcomes.
- To examine whether such predictors differ between patients with and without peripheral arterial disease.
