D-Foot International is organised in 7 Regions. Each Region is led by one or more Regional Chairs.
The Board has chosen Regional Council members in the various regions of the Diabetic Foot International. They all carry the title Regional Chair and fulfil their roles and responsibilities by mutual agreement and in consultation with the other members of their respective Regional Council.
The main responsibilities of the Regional Chairs are:
- to set up and chair their respective Regional Council;
- to assist the Board in implementing D-Foot’s vision, policy and programmes at the regional level;
- to assess and inform the Board of the diabetic foot needs and opportunities in the Region;
- to communicate with the National Representatives, other D-Foot members in the Region and diabetic foot associations and companies in the Region.
